The D.C. Council voted to delay the second vote on the DYRS Accountability Legislation until Dec. 17, and approved the Carrier-for-Hire Oversight and Enforcement Act of 2024 on its first reading, which allows the Department of For-Hire Vehicles to issue citations against vehicles delivering food, beverages and parcels.
