The Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce announced that its annual economic business meeting, “The State of the Chamber: Chamber FORWARD: A 2025 Look Ahead,” will be held Jan. 29 at the Crowne Plaza-College Park in Greenbelt.

Opening remarks will be delivered by Greenbelt Mayor Emmett Jordan. Expected to attend are U.S. Reps. Steny Hoyer and Glenn Ivey of Maryland, Prince George’s County Executive Tara Jackson, Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy and Prince George’s County Council members Jolene Ivey, at-large; Thomas Dernoga, District 1; Wanika Fisher, District 2; Eric Olson, District 3; and Wala Blegay, District 6.

The event brings business leaders, entrepreneurs and chamber members together to foster economic development and expand access to capital within the º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ region. The chamber’s strategic outlook for 2025 will focus on fostering collaboration among stakeholders to address shared challenges and opportunities.

Attendees will learn strategies to advocate for community priorities and drive economic growth through partnerships.

This year’s State of the Chamber is supported by NGEN, Southern Management, The ARC of Prince George’s County, PNC Bank, Clark Construction and Lafayette Federal Credit Union. Key topics will include collaborative power: unlocking opportunities through strategic alliances, driving economic momentum; advocating for an expansive ecosystem: empowering businesses through policy and community engagement; and building a resilient future: strategies for advanced economies and sustainable growth.
